Got it in, and swapped the hose barb and compression fitting to the new one. I put a little bit of gas into the pump to prime it. Placed one of the 4 gaskets before and after the spacer, bolted it on. re-attached fuel lines and fired up the boat and it worked great. Engine had a slight noticeably higher RPM. Wondering if my old pump was putting out a bit less PSI than it was supposed to! Never checked the PSI because it did run fine. So far, this one is performing well.

Paid the boat shop to install this defective pump it only ran for 20 minutes and had to pay them again to remove and install another one. Huge waste of time and money and another 2 weeks of beautiful weather without boating. Don’t waste your money on this pump it will leave you stranded.
