These car detailing pads are the perfect size for getting into the small areas and assuring you have total wax coverage, The finger tip pockets keep the pad on your hand and they are super soft and absorbent.

I want to start off by saying, I like that these pads are small. They are so easy to hold and you can put your fingers inside the pocket, though I would have preferred both sides with the soft microfiber. For a little job like touching up a scratch, these are perfect. I had tree sap all over the hood of my car. It takes constant pressure to work in a wax cleaner to get it off. The bigger puffy blue pads, which are good for waxing an entire car, were really too big for a small tedious job. I couldn’t hold the bigger pad tight enough to work it into a small scratch or mark. These are the perfect size for when you see something you just want to touch up or rub out. I would not wax my whole car with this little applicator pad because it would take too long. However, these pads are so much softer and gentler on your paint than the cheaper, bigger terry cloth pads. I would buy these in a bigger size if offered. I thought they were a little bit expensive for four pads, the direction say that they’re washable, but I’ve never had luck washing out one of the blue bigger pads. We toss them because they are so cheap. I used this size pad to rub out a few new marks with a black paste scratch and swirl remover, then I decided to see how well it would wash out. I used Dawn dish soap and it literally came out instantly. So the key is hand wash the pad immediately after use. I am really happy with these microfiber wax applicators. I am still blown away with how soft they are. I have never encountered a wax pad this soft!

These work really well! They are a bit smaller than expected, but in a way that’s a positive because you can get into tighter spots with whatever product you’re using. I also think for the price they should maybe include 5 pads instead of 4, it’s not the best value for how much you’re spending. Overall I would recommend these!

These micro fiber application pads are pretty good quality. Each should last a few uses and can be easily tossed in to a washer to clean up as needed. You can remove the foam insert when washing. Keep in mind that these are pretty small- about 3″ in diameter. Which makes them perfect for fine detail work. They have a flap that you can insert your fingers in to for holding them.
I can’t say the value is all that great though. For the price I would want a few more in the pack. But, considering these are for auto detailing, they are pretty affordable in comparison to most other products in this segment.

Everyone said these were to small. That’s exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t want them to use on waxing my car. I wanted something small that I could put ointment on my arms with. And these are absolutely perfect for that. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something to put ointment on

I love these things. They are perfect for the right job. I hate applying shoe polish with a brush to one pair of shoes in particular because they have white soles and if I get polish on the soles it’s a disaster. These little pads were super useful and super easy.
I used one as an applicator. They’re about 3″ across, they fit right over your finger tips and they give great control. No polish on the side of the soles! Then, I used another clean one to buff and the results are great!
These are a great size for shoes, and I’m going to use them on my wife’s leather purses next. I don’t do her bags very often because it’s a hassle to get all my shoe shine stuff out. But if i can just pop out a couple of these pads and a neutral cream polish, then I’ll have them done in minutes. (And no excuse now not to take care of expensive leather bags properly. )
I think they would be too small to do an entire car. BUT… for those tight or small spaces, like polishing the pillars without getting wax all over the windshield, they would be great.
The cover seems very nicely made, the stitching, for instance, is almost over made for something so small. The foam pad stays nicely in the microfiber cover, but for what it’s worth, the pad can be easily removed. They are inexpensive, so it may just be easier to buy more, but I’m going to remove the pads, wash everything, and then put them back together. They look like they’ll hold up to multiple washings.
Overall: quality little product that is also useful for the right job. 5 stars and I’d definitely but again without question.

This is the first Maxshine product that I find disappointing. I suppose I should have read the description more closely, but right at the end it says that these are only 4″ across. That might be good for my convertible (which has PPF, so doesn’t get waxed), but waxing or putting ceramic, or whatever, on my BMW X5M will take forever with a 4″ pad. Also, it barely fits over my fingers – I wear a men’s large glove, so my hands are big, but not huge. The little pocket on the back is a tight squeeze for 3 fingers, and the elastic is pretty weak. I tried one of these and I had a very hard time keeping the pad on my fingers. I do have some smaller items to coat with sealer or wax. I’m in the middle of polishing the aluminum castings on a Dualit toaster right now, these will be perfect for smaller jobs like that.
