Everything fit perfectly, had to special order bolt kits per Ford specification, time will tell how long they last but they seem pretty good.

Noise level on these are high. Squeal came on pretty quickly after install. Fit was good, brakes well but too noisy for my ears.

Product is of high quality! I ordered a brake set for a Mazda 5 which they sent very promptly. I will note that unbeknownst to me and apparently Amazon, the Mazda 5 underwent a change in parts used for rear brake pads at some point in 06. So despite receiving the correct kit I didn’t have the correct rear pads. After buying the correct ones to get the job done, I contacted the seller “Supreme Brakes” about a partial refund, offering to send the non compatible brake pads back.
They were very helpful and understanding of the difficulties and offered me a partial refund which was about half the value of the replacement brakes. The catch being, I DO NOT need to send the bad pads back.
I’m extremely satisfied with the rotors and the front brakes all of which fit, and I’m sure would’ve been just has happy with the rear pads had they fit my version of the Mazda 5 (they would fit most Mazda 5’s just not the ones produced before January of 06)
I am happy to accept their partial refund and happy to leave them a 5 star review for a quality product and exceptional service! Not to mention great pricing!

I bought this kit to replace the OEM brakes on my Mazda 5. I think it also fits the regular Mazda 3 (non-Mazdaspeed). Shipping was as expected. Box was a little beat up since it was so heavy (all four rotors and all pads were in their individual packaging, but all placed into a single shipping box) Nothing inside was banged up at all.
I won’t speak to the performance of these compared to more legitimate performance brakes like brembo, etc. I don’t have experience with those. Drilled and slotted rotors for the street are really not necessary. Nobody should be driving like that on an open public road, anyway. These will probably not stop your car much faster than anything else. Maybe they will stay a little cooler than non-slotted or non-drilled, but it’s irrelevant for the street.
With that said, they are good quality rotors and pads. I bought the Elite series (all black), because I mostly wanted the corrosion protection of the coating. The wearing surface of the rotor breaks in quickly, and you will see the familiar steel surface in just a few miles. The look really good, and the wheels on your 5 will show them off nicely. Not too gaudy or over the top.
Everything fit just fine. No problems whatsoever on installation. They might make a little more noise than OEM, but that will be the case for any rotor that is slotted or drilled. Just remember before starting your project that the rear calipers require a tool to compress AND turn the piston back into the cylinder. The harbor freight compression (Item#69053) kit works PERFECTLY and will keep you from cursing and possibly hurting yourself with those needle nose pliers you were going to try. Also, use some good brake parts cleaner to remove any oil from the rotor surface. There is some.
I recommend this kit. If you want to stop faster, you could probably buy more aggressive pads. For the rest of us who drive spiritedly only on occasion and want to improve the look of our brakes without making it look cheap, this kit is great.

These stop my 2001 Avalon like no other brakes. They look great and stops my car even better. It does make a slight noise as it stops the car. It’s not a squeak or faulty/cheap brake noise. It sounds more like shutting down a super computer. It’s weird to say it this way, but the stopping sound is actually satisfying to me. 🙂 I’ve been driving on this set for about 2 weeks now and I am still surprised how well and quickly it stops my car. I plan to use this brand for my other 2 cars when their times come. Highly recommended.

I am impressed and satisfied with the value, Fitment and quality of the Maxbrakes product. Without quality there is no value. If you are a do-it-yourselfer then you are trying to save money, same as me. Reasons that I am impressed:
The packaging, before rotors and set of pads were well package and arrived in three shipments. One box containing the front rotors, one containing the rear rotors and 1/3 containing the front and rear pad set. Each rotor came in a separate box with the front rotors together in a primary box within the shipping container. The same with the rear rotors. The brake pads came in one shipping container and they were packaged each in a separate clamshell box that was nicely printed with the max brakes logo and other information. All the rotors were sealed in a plastic bag and had very little oil residue which I washed off with a scrub brush, soap and water. F y i watching with soap and water is the recommended method as I have learned.
I do not have any cons about this product and only time will tell how they hold up especially driving on Pennsylvania Road in the winter with all these salt snow and ice. I’m hoping I’ll get at least 3 years out of the rotors. That is three annual safety inspection.

I was honestly a little concerned due to the price being so low, but the quality has been excellent. They installed perfectly and have given us no issues whatsoever. It’s winter, so I can’t comment on the stopping power (a previous reviewer said they stopped better than the factory brakes), but they certainly do stop the vehicle at least as effectively as factory brakes did. No more vibration or noise!
