I opened the package and there is was. It looks like the MAF in my Volvo T6 and I will keep it as a spare.
I see another similar reviewer with the same exact car model. He says it worked and that is about all I can say.
See the pics. The seller/mfg. is not identified on the item. Actually, I see no part number or anything with a brand name.
I guess it is “generic”. OK. If I have a problem with my MAF, I can use this and hopefully it will work.
I saw other brands for $40-$200. Denso, Bosch, etc…
If my life depended on it, I may splurge for a known brand.

The original #30751293 on the Volvo website is ridiculous, costing over $200, but if you drive one you already know what to expect. It’s a bit ludicrous. This is a far cheaper alternative, even considering other non-OEM options. It looks like the original part, in terms of build and quality, and was quite easy to install. However, I am getting a P010C error code. That doesn’t affect driving and the engine runs fine, and I admit I can’t be sure it was caused by this part. It did fix the bigger issue and now the car is running. But with the error code, it hasn’t been the complete fix I hoped for, so I will have to explore some more. So, this part seems to work, but may have some issues. Which may be caused by the part, or Volvo’s very finicky systems.

I got this as a spare part for when I’m out on the road. I drive a 2015 Volvo XC70 T6 and while it’s rare for the MAF to fail, it has been known to fail occasionally. Murpheys law, of course, will cause mine to fail 700 miles from home.
With that being said. I installed this simply to test (and make sure it actually works) before I actually needed it.
It screws in place of the original Denso sensor (buy the OE sensor if you can, it’s just worth the peace of mind), and it allowed for a cold weather start (20°) without issue and drivability seems decent enough for me. I drove on it for a few hours before pulling it again as I was actually headed out on a road trip down into New Mexico.
This is one of those things (for me) that I hope I’ll never need to use, but I’ll be happy if I do and I have it.
I’d buy another one in a pinch if I needed, but I personally don’t trust any parts that their respective manufacturers don’t actually brand them. Tells you how proud they are of their parts.

My car has P172 code right after I cleaned my K&N air filter. I suspected that I put too much oil on the filter that damaged the MAF sensor, so I order a new one. After I installed the new sensor, my car started but idled roughly, then immediately died. I restarted my car a few times, and the car died always immediately. I reinstalled my old MAF sensor, then my car seemed to be back to normal, started and drove without issues other than P172 code. Lesson learned, the quality of this product is not good. BTW, I returned the product, the same day when I received and tested it.
