To my knowledge this is an OEM BMW filter minus the BMW stamp. I assume most anyone reading this is going to handle the installation on their own but if not, do yourself (and your wallet) a favor and Google an installation video. It’s beyond easy and takes all of a few minutes using basic tools, then congratulations, you get to feel all accomplished and badass because you just did something that suckers are paying shops $150+ to do, but not you bro, you have a new filter and $150 to go spend on weed or something.

I have no problem with Mann filters. In fact I use them exclusively on my 2008 BMW 328 xi. The problem with this order is one that I could have prevented if I had been more vigilant. I ordered this filter in January, planning to install it in the spring. The order arrived within a few days as usual. I saw the distinctive Mann green and yellow box and put it away for later use. What I did not do was check the order carefully. In spite of Amazon’s online shipping notices and what I was billed for, I was sent the wrong filter. It is a C27-125, not a C27-114.
The frustrating part is that I did not realize the difference until I had removed the old one. And that procedure is not a painless one by any means, especially for someone like me who doesn’t work on cars from day to day.
So I had to reinstall the old one (actually harder than removing it was) and order a correct one for almost $20.
Lesson learned:
ALWAYS CHECK A CAR PARTS ORDER CAREFULLY IF YOU DON’T PLAN TO INSTALL IT RIGHT AWAY.

The Mann Filter is a great OEM air filter that perfectly fits a 2007 BMW 328xi (E90 model). The filter arrived clean and without any issues, and I’ve ordered a few of these for my car over the year. Much better price point than paying $100+ at an auto shop.
Note: The E90 filter does require about 30 minutes to change. Just follow one of the guides online.

I always use this unit when replacing my old air filter. Fits like a glove and best price. Used on an E90 with an N52 engine

The best brand you can get for your BMW. I won’t buy any other filters for mine.

Works fit in air box as it should, always try and stick to bmw o.e.m. product even if a few $s more.
….worth it.
