Simple and works as intended. Make sure that the plastic insert is on correct place or it will not disconnect like it’s supposed to. I ended up gluing it in place to make sure it didn’t accidentally shift

I was thinking this was like a quarter turn on and off switch, but it is even more simple than that. The two halves are separated by a plastic insulator that only make contact when blue knob is tightened down. Unfortunately it was too tall to install on my suzuki dl650 since it interfered with putting the seat back in place so I used it on my lawn tractor. It works great there and saves time from having to unscrew cable from battery post while stored for winter or while charging battery. All it takes is about half a turn to stop current which prevents parasitic drain to any battery. To reconnect all it takes is a quick clockwise turn of the blue knob and you’re back in business. The cut-off switch should be durable enough to last many years as long as the plastic insulator doesn’t deteriorate. So far I haven’t had any signs of corrosion since it seems to be electroplated. Overall it looks to be a great deal for a simple on/off switch that should stand the test of time since there’s no springs or contacts to wear out. I just wish it would have fit on my motorcycle.

The title says it all. My own fault for not paying close attention when I ordered it. It is way smaller than I thought it would be, which is good and bad. Good that it will fit in a lot of tight areas but, bad in the fact that the holes and the included screw are small. In my case this is going to require additional hardware and rigging to get it installed. That was not in the plans. I’ll get around to it someday soon to get it installed on my Commercial Zero Turn. I have tested it and it works as it should.
I would recommend it if the style and small size fit the project it is being purchased for. It is made well and does as it should.

Works well! A novel idea!

Even though I installed this kill switch you have to wiggle the wires around to make sure that they are not making a connection and running your battery low if you have a draw

There’s really nothing exciting to share here… this works just as I figured it would. Using it on my Suzuki Eiger to turn the battery off at the winch connection while I’m bit actively using it.

Doesn’t work.

This is a great addition to a motorcycle or in my case a 1976 MGB battery. Why bother hunting down electrical ghosts when you can just easily disconnect the battery? This part does the job.
