This magnetic car mount is an absolute lifesaver!
The magnet is super strong—my phone snaps into place securely and stays put with no worries about it falling.

MagSafe mounts are desired pretty hard, and I took a chance on this one but it’s just not a comfortable feeling to stick this to a dashboard.
Look, if that’s not something you’re concerned about then I think this product is good to go. However, I was hoping for something a little more dependent on the suction vs. the adhesive when it comes dash mounts and well, it isn’t. Most dashboards are that vinyl material that at least in the southern US, that summer sun is going to ruin that application/adhesive and probably the dashboard.
Again, if you are comfortable with doing that, this is probably a good product for you.
Let’s talk about charging, simply put the thing works and MagSafe is a solid solution for grip and stability. May not quite recommend this for any turbulent driving, but for the vast majority of uses this is going to do just fine.

I found this to be cumbersome when used with my Galaxy. The clamps that hold the phone in place press right onto the power button so I have to position the phone off-center to get it securely clamped down. If centered, the clamps hit the power button and, well, the display shuts off. That’s also problematic when using the wireless charger because the phone needs to be positioned just right over the charging pad.
I also found it takes quite a bit of force to get it twisted and tightened enough where the arm doesn’t fall down. My previous mount was a bit easier to get positioned and tightened down.
My previous mount was spring-loaded and would grab the phone when it was placed in the holder. This made more sense to me in terms of single-handed operation. Having to hold the phone in place while compressing the clamps takes two hands and would definitely be an issue if needing to reposition it while driving.
Once everything was in place thougn, it was mostly fine. If you spend the time getting it situated and secured, it works. My wife’s iPhone works well with it so we’ll put it to use.

Exelent! Fast charging. Arms are manually operated but useless because magnets are strong enough in city driving.

The magsafe works very well but I really like the added security of the retracting arms. The wireless charging works well even through a thick case and the mount is good. It was very easy to install but keep in mind that it comes with a quick charge power adapter to ensure you get the most of the charging speed so you’ll need to use a 12v port for that.

This is a strong stand. Follow the instructions press down on it for 30 seconds when attaching to a surface. I’ve had many other of these phone holders and they would move while driving or they’d fall off. Eventually all of those would snap on the center via the plastic. This one feels heavy duty. I don’t have a phone that handles wireless charging but it does come with a fast charging cable and cigarette lighter charger box. Installation had good instructions and was fairly simple. The picture showed they have the device fold over itself to extend towards you but I just anchored it and extended it towards me without folding over the base and you get a few more inches of distance closer to the driver seat. I like that it comes with an attachment for the vent in case this one fails. I will get a new phone with wireless charging because it’s so easy to put the phone on and off the base. Another thing is the release button is behind the base on top but I rotated it upside down and it’s easier to release the button like that. I highly recommend this phone holder!!!
