I needed a phone holder for a rental car, and this did the trick! My criteria was simply to attach my phone to the dash or windshield so it would be easily accessible without fumbling while driving, and to be able to transfer the device to another vehicle.
The windshield suction mount is very strong and provides enough rotation to position the phone so that it is easily viewable. I like that the mount also allows itself to be folded out of the way to allow use of a sun shade. Removing the mount for repositioning or use in another vehicle was relatively easy and didn’t impact the security of the suction mount; the suction is so strong and sticky, that you have to work a bit and remove it much like 3M strips—pull on the table to break the suction, then slowly lift away from the mounting surface. The stickiness is not an adhesive, but is the inherent nature of the plastic suction disk; it doesn’t leave a residue.
To ensure good adhesion to the phone, you need to use one of the metal plates provided. Since my phone has magnetic charging and I already have a removable wallet attached to the case, I simply slipped one of the provided metal plates between the back of my phone and its case in a position that wouldn’t interfere with the magnetic charging location (I didn’t expose the adhesive on the metal plate). When I want to attach the phone to the mount, I just remove my wallet and pop the phone on the mount. After a couple times, it’s pretty easy to align the metal plate on the phone with the magnetic mount.
I considered some of the magnetic charging mounts, but since they still require the use of a charging cable, that feature didn’t seem worth the extra cost; either way, I have a cable hanging across my dash.
Super happy with this purchase! It took me forever to research and make the purchase, but this product def met my needs!

Works well and easy to install. The magnet is strong and holds the phone well in virtually any direction. The only thing I dislike is the arm wiggles when driving. I have it adjusted so the bottom of the phone rests against the dash so it doesn’t shake so much.

There’s absolutely nothing I disliked about the Magnetic phone holder for car. I got mine in black it also comes in silver. The color is preference (aesthetics)
It includes a circle and a square (2) magnetic metal plates and 2 stickers for it that have transparent protective film over each one. It’s super simple you literally just pull off the sticker on metal plate place on phone case then add the metal plate. Unless your case already has a metal magnetic plates built in. If not just follow super simple instructions and adhere protective film & metal plate over back of the phone case and it holds REALLY good! The base is as simple as it sounds and looks with it’s suction cup and auxiliary fixator below the mount base which is attached to the mount arm that moves conveniently just make sure you push the locking lever down to engage the suction. It’s definitely worth the money and does exactly the same and more and looks even better (as it’s not as bulky as some of the more expensive ones). Get it, you won’t be sorry! My husband ordered one too.

This magnetic phone holder worked great for my car. First of all, the design is done in a way that it is not standing out bulky on the dashboard . The adhesion is good and the magnetic holder is very strong and nicely holds my heavy iPhone pro max with its case in place without sliding down. I specially like how the magnetic hand/extender can be moved from side to side easily and effortlessly . I liked it so much that purchased second one for my daughter’s car. 100% 5 star product
