This item arrived on time and was a direct fit replacement for a 4Runner factory catalytic converter. Replaced original without much hassle as advertised. Can’t believe I waited this long for a swap out.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM! Magnaflow does not honor their 5 year warranty! Purchased on July 2015. Check engine light came on. Mechanic indicated it’s a Catalytic Fault. Still within warranty, I contacted MagnaFlow and was instructed to contact Amazon. Amazon attempted to contacted both MagnaFlow and East Coast Jeeps directly through 2 separate emails as well as a phone call, and was unsuccessful at contact. MagnaFlow nor East Coast Jeeps has made any attempt to contact Amazon or myself. Amazon had to directly step in to take care of matter. (MagnaFlow is also no longer on the list of California CARB certified catalytic converters, there’s no need to wonder why…)

I installed this on an 02 4Runner and it went in with no issues at all. It seems to be well made and good quality. The only complaint is with the material, it must be a very mild stainless as a magnet sticks everywhere except the welds.

Just installed new direct fit bolt on ca compliant converter. No more engine check light and saved over $800 over Toyota converter. Very easy to install took about 20 mins. Great alternative to high priced Toyota part.
