I got this primarily to use with rented cars. Unfortunately, the peculiar mount works only with certain vent designs (where there are horizontal fins no more than 1/3 inch), and therefore is pretty useless for the purpose.
The magsafe mount is good, and the cordless charging works as intended. How fast it charges will of course depend on the power source, but for continuous charging while driving it’s definitely adequate.
So overall I don’t recommend this particular mount. I’m going to see if I can find a better base, in which case I can keep the magsafe mount and toss the lower part of it, since the ball-socket looks like it will fit other bases.

It works well. it attaches to my Jeep’s GC ’24 vent (central horizontal vane). It holds the phone well and will charge it (S25+ and iPhone 16 Pro).
I don’t like the perimeter light. It is annoying, I wish there was a way to turn it off except unplugging it.

I was surprised when this fit the vents in my 2015 Mini Countryman. It works so well and I’m glad i took the chance to order it.

This vent mount works great. Besides having the usual metal hook that grabs onto the vent, this unit also has an additional little foot that can rest on the edge of the vent. For me, this gives a much more stable anchoring point. That little foot can pivot, but it takes a lot of force, something that only needs to be done once, while installing it. Plus, this firm anchor also works well with the MagSafe, and I’m not worried that I’m going to break the vent every time I pull the phone off the charger.

Honestly I don’t know if I got a faulty product or what but the magnet didn’t work at all!!! I didn’t even bother plugging it in since I needed this mostly to mount my phone. I even took off the phone case to see if that was at fault but this thing couldn’t hold my phone at all!! So frustrating don’t waste your money on this. An absolute hazard of a product.

this charger works great for my S21ultra, I use a cover with the magnet ring behind it and it hold on tight just fine.
it doesn’t charge super-fast, but it charges just fine.

This charger has a REALLY good grip. My husband has a Z Fold that stays on even when all the way open, through rough streets and bumps and speeding. It has a really pretty blue light when it’s on and in the dark it’s very easy to see. Charging works great too and the cord is a good length and easy to plug in and use.

I’m super excited I was actually able to find a magnetic charger that will fit my 2021 tundra vents. They’re round circle vents – with really deep fins – i didn’t initially think this would work, but it ended up working great. The charger has a little kickstand piece that holds it from bouncing around too much, and keeps it positioned well – i really like that feature.
The magnet is super strong – strong enough that my Galaxy S22+ doesn’t fall off while using it.
One thing i don’t like – it seems like it gets really hot after about 30 minutes of use. Hopefully when summer comes and the vents are blowing out AC, this wont be an issue.
I also wish it was possible to change the color of the LED ring when you’re not using the charger – it’s just a rainbow of colors going in circles when you don’t have a phone connected.
