The only reason why I hate taking my car for service to some unprofessional mechanics. Long story short one of the mechanics stripped my drain plug during oil change and I had no idea I had stripped drain plug for months. I tried changing the washer and drain plug which didn’t fix the oil consumption issue. I kept losing oil like 150-200 kms after topping off to full which is insane. So I bought myself car ramps and got under the car which I found oil dripping from the oil drain plug. I knew this was due to stripped drain plug since I already tried a new plug and washer which didn’t work at all. Thanks to this piggyback single oversized drain plug I installed it myself with the copper washer and used permatex gasket ultra black (heat/oil resistant) on the drain plug and around the drain plug for a permanent fix which now I just use the piggyback to do the oil changes. I tested the oil consumption by recording the odometer with this piggyback drain plug and physically going back under the car to see any leaks which I was surprised this fixed the entire issue. I now have no more oil dripping or leaking and my oil dipstick shows full. I have wasted probably hundreds of dollars for the past year by constantly topping up oil and wasting my money on oil jugs…wish I had known about the oversized drain plug before. Oh well thank goodness I am all good now thanks to this oversized drain plug.

Claims it’s oversized. Not sure what part is oversized. I had a stripped out plug. Figured oversize plug would solve this repair. NOPE, new plug size size same as original. Had to do modification to make it work.
