If I could give this thing 10 stars I’d do so. Magnet is strong as any magnet, can basically drop my phone an inch from it and it says, not today and catches it, charges my phone quickly and is not an eyesore sitting on my dash like the rest

I have zero sense of direction and can’t function without Google Maps. After my iPhone phone died on a long trip and the plug in wire charger wouldn’t charge, I thought I might just have to drive around forever. I decided a magnetic charger was less likely to have issues, and this one has been a winner. You have to follow the directions to mount it (give it the full 24 hours), but once it’s mounted, it stays in place despite heat, cold and the occasional swat by an excited dog. It holds your phone tightly even through a plastic case. But the best thing about it is that it charges really fast! I often go to day-long events where I’m shooting videos and have virtually no battery left when I’m leaving. With my previous slow charger, I worried that it wouldn’t recharge fast enough to guarantee my nav would continue to work all the way home, but this has me up to full battery quickly, even while the nav is working. It’s also small and unobtrusive, and easily adjustable. I feel safer having this charger in my car.

Qi2 Wireless charger! This charger/Phone mount sticks to the dash well and is super solid. The phone being on the mount does not move around and is a great solution to phone mounts. This charger comes with the rings in case your phone does not have Magsafe. This stand is solid yet you can easily remove your device from the stand. My favorite phone mount/charger by far!

I’ve fussed about all the previous kinds of phone holders – too wobbly, too fussy, too persnickety. But this last iteration of using MagSafe and now, adding charging to the MagSafe option has me thinking whoever does the design has stumbled on the right formula. The magnet is strong enough that I don’t worry about the phone falling, but not so strong that it is hard to remove. The adjustments are well-designed – I can find a good spot where the phone is visible without getting in the way or blocking the vents (looking at you, stupid pop sockets! that was a good idea with bad execution), and being able to charge while using gps and media is adding gravy. I rarely need to charge or even use GPS for a long time, but the few times I have, this would have solved the problem in one fell swoop. Swoop away now, dear friends!

This magnetic phone charger grips and charges my iphone 16 through its protective magsafe case quite well. This charger’s mounting base is quite small and depends on a firm grip by the provided 3M adhesive. A larger glue pad is provided for attachment to your dash which will help, but depending on how you mount it (full arm extension or close to base) the moment arm and the weight of the phone can put a lot of shearing force on it. The charger itself is solid metal and is well constructed, no problems here. But as some have noted, depending on how you mount, your charge cable may be coming out the top (inconvenient). It is essential to follow directions in mounting the glue pad to your dash (preferably close to the edge and on a very flat smooth part). It must cure for 24hrs in moderate temps before attaching the phone and using. You will risk premature failure it you don’t. You can minimize the shearing force if you can mount very close to the edge of the dash and not extent the arm, or far enough away from the edge so that the arm rests on the dash with just the charging pad overhanging. I took some pictures demonstrating before I put it in the car. It comes with an extra pad for the mount itself if you goof up. It also has a USB cable and a PD/QC charge adapter. You really have everything you need in this small package. I am hoping this adhesive fares better in the next hot summer temps than my on the glass holders have. Based on what I see so far though, it rates 5* and is doing the job.

This stand holds my heavy iPhone 16 Pro Max in place better than any other device I have tried in the car. In one of my pictures you can see the “O” magnet mounted. What I find is that with the “O” magnet mounts of any kind, they don’t do very well, even on direct contact with the back of the iPhone. There just isn’t enough surface area friction to hold the phone in place. I also have a heavy duty camera frame on my phone most of the time and so that adds weight to the phone that even some of the solid circle mounts can’t hold in place. This hold in place even during turns. The arms on the mount are pretty stiff and can therefore hold the phone in position. I wish I had a better place to mount it in my car as the cord dangles in the way of the screen on my stereo console. But my phone doesn’t require constant charging since it is new.
Installation was very easy with the 3M adhesive backing I was able to mount it to the dash after I wiped the dashboard off with an alcohol pad to remove dirt that would prohibit the bond. But after waiting 5 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate and dry, I mounted the cradle and waited about 15 minutes, pressing down all around the base to make sure it was evenly set. Once I did that, the arm can swivel around 360° and therefore you can find an angle that works best for you. The magnet will also hold the phone in place In portrait or landscape view. I like the clean design and its ability to fold up when not in use as it can fold up on top of its own footprint and therefore not clutter up the dashboard. It honestly looks like the perfect fit for my Buick. Well work the price as it comes with a car adapter that does both USB-A and USB-C cables out to charge your other devices and to connect to the magnetic base to allow up to 15W of power. This is a solid product worth the money.
