I decided to give this magnetic phone mount a try, even though it’s marketed for Teslas, and I’m glad I did! It works perfectly in my minivan. The dual mounting options in this charger is great. I used the two-contact dash mount in a Ford Escape, and it has been holding strong even in the summer heat. I am getting a full 15W of charging from the magsafe pad, and it holds very securely to the dash. In my experience the adhesive on these usually needs to be replaced about every 6 months, but the dual contacts on this base will help reduce leverage and pulling off the adhesive.

So I needed a MagSafe charger for a particular reason and not for a Tesla. Disappeared it would work so I ordered it and I am so impressed with this charger. It locks my phone on securely and comes with several ways to attach and secure both the charger and the phone simultaneously. This charger quality is well above standard not only visually, but by touch also. It feels heavyweight which means heavy duty. I can charge my phone and run several applications and functions at the same time and still gain battery charge. If I could get this charger more than five stars, I would.

Received the holder. Installed in Tesla. Due to hot days the rear adhesive keeps failing and melting. I’m outside the return time so I am stuck with the unit. Tried a 2 sided gorilla tape and that failed as well.

I installed this a few days ago and my wife has been loving it. It holds the phone very firmly and charges well. There are two methods included for attaching the holder to the car — the adhesive pads that I used, or a clamp to attach to the infotainment screen (which does not fit on our 2023 Rav4). The adhesive is strong and we haven’t had any issues with it in hot weather. The materials are high quality and the fit and finish are nice. It includes an adhesive magnet ring to install if your phone or case doesn’t have one; I did not use this, but it’s nice that they included it.

Fast charging MagSafe for iPhone with two different mounts – one specifically geared towards a Tesla Model 3 screen (to be mounted on any of the corners… I specifically chose the upper left corner). I appreciate that the ball mechanism used to hold and allow adjustment of the placement of the magnetic circle was interchangeable with another mount I had purchased. Unlike some other manufacturers they didn’t do anything proprietary or funky in that regard. Charging seems fast with the included USB-C/A to USB-C cable saying 60W. Magnetic strength is good, supporting my ohsnap! iPhone holder and not requiring any additional metal inserts to be added to my case (inserts are included in the packaging). Good instructions but intuitive design that makes it easy to install and get up and running. The only reason I am putting down 4 stars is the base that the MagSafe connects to is rather flimsy… so is the nut you use to tighten the magnetic disc to the base. I can see this breaking if not treated properly. In terms of the picture showing the disc on an armature, the armature is NOT a part of this product but merely reflects the level of interchangeability with other mounting systems which, again, is a quality of this product that I appreciate.
