This LISEN MagSafe phone mount works PERFECTLY with my iPhone 14 Plus. I use it with a case and the holder grip is firm and stable – phone has never fallen off, even with rough bumpy roads. It’s not finicky: I can almost toss the phone onto the holder to attach it, and there’s no problem lifting it off the holder when I’m done. Charging is automatic. Best of all is that it allows me to position the phone for use as my car navigation system. I’ve found that online maps (Google Maps and Apple Maps) are better than any car nav system, especially for real-time traffic, so I much prefer to use the phone for driving. This mount makes that work – without even having to check first whether the phone is charged.
The key to the holder’s effectiveness is the design of the mount. I attach it to a vent in my Honda Civic just to the right of the steering wheel. The hook mechanism that tightens the mount to the vent is strong and stable, without overtightening it and risking damage to the car. It may not look it, but the design of the mount – with “wings” extending from the mount base in opposite directions – gives a lot of flexibility in finding a good attachment point in the vent. I’ve put this unit in 3 cars now (mine and 2 frinds’), with no problems and appreciated success. In my car the mount slightly constrains my ability to adjust the direction of the air flow from that one vent – and it doesn’t seem to matter (at least to me). When the A/C is running it also diverts that flow a bit; the only effect I’ve noticed is that it keeps the phone nice and cool even though it’s charging – definitely a positive.
The second important feature of the mount is its ability to rotate the arm – up/down, left/right, towards/away from the dash. My preference is for the phone to be positioned in my line of sight just to the right of the steering wheel, and visibly just below the top edge of the dashboard. I use the phone oriented vertically for driving – better than the horizontal orientation of nav systems I’ve used. This mount enables me to get that exact orientation, but if you prefer a horizontal orientation that’s no problem. The nut at the top of the mount tightens the mount ball-joint to the arm of the phone holder, allowing the arm to be rotated around in a vertical plane AND to angle toward the dashboard as needed. THe vertical rotation is illustrated in the online discription – the flexibility to angle the phone so that it faces directly toward the driver may not be obvious. It’s another positive, allowing me to glance at the phone map as needed while I’m driving virtually without taking my eyes off the road.
The charger plug and cable included in this package work very well. The charger has 2 ports – one for the USB-A to C cable that connects to the base of the phone mount, and a second USB-C port for your other portables. Nice touch. The cable is unobtrusive – I basically forget it’s there.
It’s hard to think of anything negative about this unit. I have not tried installing the mount using the alternative that sticks to the dashboard, so nothing to add there. I do find it necessary to occasionally tighten the ball-joint nut. I think that the repeated action of twisting the phone off the mount (which is easy) may be pushing the joint to rotate and loosen the nut just a bit. Eventually I notice it – after maybe a couple of months? more? – and tighten it up a bit. This is not a problem.
I recommend this unit wholeheartedly.

The magnetic grip is strong, holding my phone securely even on bumpy roads. It’s incredibly convenient to attach and detach my phone with one hand.
The charger delivers a fast and consistent charge, and the included 38W car charger ensures that I can charge multiple devices at once without losing speed. The dual mounting options (dashboard and vent) make it versatile for any car setup, and the build quality feels premium and sturdy. My only issue was the adhesive to mount it on the dash wasn’t great. I washed the dash and let it dry then attached it. The front pad worked the back one didn’t. I ended up having to use glue.
It’s a great blend of functionality and style, making my drives much more convenient. I highly recommend this charger for anyone looking for a reliable MagSafe-compatible car mount! It was also heat resistant because with it mounted, my phone wasn’t over the vent.

This is a really good charger, with two ways to attach it to the car and both seem pretty safe. Holds the phone perfectly. It comes with a lighter to 2 USB-C power adapter, which provides a lot of power to charge your phone qucjk.

Some of the mag safe products can be unnecessarily difficult to get off but this is so smooth and easy and I have to say that is my favorite thing about it right next to the fact it charges my phone too! I love that is has different ways you can mount it because everyone’s needs are different. Would highly recommend and even a second one because of how much we liked the first one!
