I have to say, I am surprised that this will not work in my Ford F150 like I was hoping. I cannot get the cable to be flexible enough to attach. There is not enough play in the cable to get it to reach the device once it is attached to the battery. No matter what I did, it would not work. I had hopes for this.

This battery disconnect switch works great. The knob makes it easy to cutoff power to the car, and I like that it just takes a quarter turn. Turning is slightly rough, but I like that there are definite indents, so you know that it’s on/off. The post and connection aren’t all that beefy, but they do seem adequate. Also, the switch is more compact than other variations, so it can fit in easier. For me, this switch can sit on top of the battery without interfering with the hood of the car because it only stands 1 7/8 inch high.
