My first review was positive. Now I’m unhappy.
These clamps are REALLY strong. I have a classic car so I clamp and unclamp on a regular basis. These clamps have chewed up my battery posts. I have replaced tehm after a couple of months.
Be forewarned. These things are so strong thay can cause damamge.
For my use case, I needed clamps that opened wide, like in “Jaws”. These do.
They do take two strong hands to open. Also, note that the crimp for each wire is very large, obviously designed for thick cable. Mine was not thick, but I doubled it over and pliers and a hammer on the garage floor got my smaller wire secured.
This product appears very heavy duty. I’m happy.

I put these clamps on my portable winch, I use it mostly with my car hauler. The jaws open fairly wide and I like the copper “teeth” but most of all I like the strong grip they have. They are not real heavy duty feeling and are kind of easy to bend, I did so while putting the wires on them. But the they straightened right out and I feel like I’ll get good use out of them, being mindful of their limitations and being gentle with them. I plan on buying another set for my garden tank sprayer and maybe more?

I’ve bought the 100A and 500A size of these Linkstyle replacement clamps and am impressed with the quality. I bought the 500A first, and was so impressed with the quality that I bought the smaller 100A ones to replace the stock clamps on my battery charger even though it was nearly new. They are significantly better than the cheap clamps that came on it.
The springs are strong on both sizes and the insulation for the handles is high quality. The insulation is a thick flexible plastic material, not hard plastic which might tend to break. I also like that they do not over-package these clamps. They come simply sealed in a plastic bag. No wasteful foam, cardboard or box to be thrown away.
I highly recommend these clamps.

These are great clamps for a small battery charger. They clamp down nice and tight and they’re easy to grip. You want to be very careful crimping the wire to the clamp. It is easy to screw them up and once you do, you’re pretty much done. Otherwise they’re great clamps, I’d recommend them

Bought them to replace cheap plastic pair that came with lithium battery booster I bought. Plastic ones broke first use. These seem to be much better.
