I really like being able to inspect the filter elements for metal particles. Never seen any but its assuring. The kit has the o rings necessary for a proper seal.

Showed up in a Genuine Toyota Box with the filter, 2 rubber seals (one small and one large), and a plastic oil drain plug spout for convenient draining of oil. Items were in a quality sealed plastic which is reassuring. The small seal is for the drain plug which can be removed with a 3/8″ socket and should be appropriately torqued when re-installing as it doesn’t need to be too tight like mine was. It does help to have a ~64-65mm oil wrench socket to get the filter housing off of the car after the oil is drained, but a universal oil filter wrench can work as well. The larger o-ring goes in the filter with both small and large o-rings requiring to be lubricated with fresh oil (0W-20 synthetic in my case).Quality product that seems to be holding up well with no leaking. I perform my synthetic oil changes every 6,000 miles and these filters are still in great (OEM quality) shape.
