When I opened the box I found the part covered in transmission fluid in a ziplock bag. Part looked new and worked but not sure if it was a return part or of they are shipped soaked in transmission fluid.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. You get what you paid for. It fit perfectly. It does not shift out of first gear. Spend the money and get it from Rock Auto. Trust me. I put this in my 99 Honda accord. It does not work. If I could rate it a zero I would. Look at my pic. Rock Auto on left, Amazon on right. The port is wider.

This solenoid did not work once installed on my 2002 Honda Accord. I believe the reason is that it is not well manufactured. It’s cheap, but I don’t recommend it. That was my experience.

reccommened for rescue!!! it shifted my gear perfectly from my house to freeway. However, when I got to the freeway, it gets broken the shift between 3rd gear and 4th gear, so it is great for rescue vehicle, not for longterm recommendation
