Fit is the most important thing when working on small engines. The application of this item was as described.

I used this carburetor on an SV710-3002 engine on a riding mower. It does work, but there are noticeable differences with the OEM Keihin part (32 853 22S). This is what I noticed:
– The engine runs lean, as evidenced by the light grey deposits on the spark plugs. I have read comments that the fuel/air mixture tends to normal when the engine is under a load, such as when cutting grass. That does not seem to be the case. Note that engines running lean run at a higher temperature. (There are no adjustments on the carb to tweak the fuel/air mix ratio.)
– When the engine is started and the choke is taken off, a few seconds later the engine surges, as though it is missing fuel. Leaving the choke partially on corrects the surging. The surging goes away after the engine has warmed up, after which the choke may be taken off.
– At idle, when the engine is warm, the engine sometimes surges.
I bought this 3-rd party carburetor to get my lawn tractor going, so that I could take my time to clean the OEM carb. I am not a mechanic, and wanted to have a running lawn tractor while I was cleaning the OEM part. A few months later, I put the cleaned OEM carb back on my lawn tractor. The machine ran like new, without the issues described above.
In conclusion, I prefer the OEM carburetor. But in a pinch this 3-rd party unit will do.
Some installation notes:
The grounding cable that is attached to the top of the unit was too short. I had to transfer the cable from the OEM unit to this one.
The insulator over the connector for the fuel shut-off valve easily slides off the connector, exposing a bare connector.
The black cover over the choke mechanism was broken.

Product seams good. I did have tk use my old ground cable because this one wasn’t long enough but not a huge deal

Got this carb for my Cub Cadet zero turn with Kohler Courage 22 (SV720) and just swapped out the old one to rebuild as a backup and this one primed up easy and works just as the original.
