I got 2003 suburban with a gen 4 engine I use the ls2 knock sensors with the conversion harness…it didn’t work code was popping up. The ls2 knock sensors had to be tuned to work. So I got these and put them in the same spot as ls2 knock sensors would bolt up

These are a no-brainer on your LS. They make replacement of your knock sensors a breeze, keep you from having to remove your intake and they look good. I’ve had these installed for about 6 months with no check engine light.
Don’t forget to unhook your battery, I tried code readers and drive cycles but nothing would clear the engine light after installing these, I finally just unhook the battery for a couple minutes and no more engine light. And remember to get a knock sensor harness extension.

These have m10 threads so they would be compatible with Gen 3 knock sensors but won’t work with the Gen 4 sensors which is the main reason I got these. Would have been nice to see this in the description. Now I have to buy adapter studs

Not real easy to find places to mount them on a LS1 block on passenger side. Easier to delete the knock sensors out of the powertrain control module.
