This filter was a perfect fit for my vehicle (2012 Honda Odyssey), but please make sure that you confirm this is the correct filter for your vehicle. The filter is so much more durable than the flimsy paper one that it replaced, however that doesn’t mean anything in regards to it’s filtration performance. In terms of performance, I could instantly hear that the vehicle was getting more air and the response time between when I pressed the pedal and the engine breathing air increased. I have not noticed an increase in MPG, however I have noticed a performance increase. The main reason for purchasing this filter wasn’t performance related, but economic related. I added up the cost of paper filters over the life of the vehicle vs buying this, and of course buying this filter and reusing it beat out the paper filter, so I get a better filter and save money. Can’t beat it!

Fit perfectly in 2017 Honda Odyssey. Actually experienced a drop in MPG when installed which surprised me. Took the filter back out and used the K&N cleaning kit to clean the filter. I felt like maybe it was soaked a bit too much. Followed the directions on the clean kit and cleaned and reoiled it. Placed it back in and then used it a week around town and then on a long drive. Still not noticing any astounding MPG increase, but seems like I did average about a mile extra per gallon. Still, the other main reason I purchase these is that I CAN clean them and reuse the filter instead of having to buy new ones all the time. So, for the combo of the two (reuse and slight MPG increase) I still feel it is a worthwhile purchase.

I have to disagree with those that allege that they get 2-3 mpg more from an air filter. It’s an air filter. If any car could improve gas mileage by over 10% with a $30 part, don’t you think they would’ve done it before now? I imagine any improvement comes from taking the lead off the accelerator or just having a clean unclogged filter in your car.
its just an air filter. it fits perfectly and can be installed within 2 minutes. For long term use, this filter is only double in price the other filters amazon offers but has a much longer life span. If you don’t mind a slight reduction in filtration for extended life and easier breathing for your car, this is for you.

I’ve had plenty of experience over the years with K&N filters in various OEM replacement and custom applications. This filter didn’t let me down. It fit the airbox. It has all the K’s required to filter the air. And it has all the necessary N’s, too. Rumor even has it that it’s washable. I guess I’ll find that out for certain at the 50,000 mile mark. (I’m sure it’ll wash fine.)
It’s worth mentioning that I didn’t notice any extra HP until I put the sticker on the airbox. I know those stickers are only supposed to be worth +5 HP, but it felt like an easy +10 HP and at least 3 mph trap speed, for those that like living their life a quarter mile at a time.

I have used K&N in everything for decades, you already know what it does. For this Odyssey family truckster, it does add some throttle response, some power and MPG. Well worth it, never having to buy paper filters, never gets old.

These filters are great they end up saving you money in the long run. The k&n filter is washable and reusable by the time you buy 2 non washable filters this one will be paid for buy the wash recharge kit. And it will last you for years of service less material in the landfills more money in your pocket.

I always buy a K&N lifetime filter for each of my cars, trucks and vans. They last the entire lifetime of ownership and appear to give a little boots to mileage. Cleaning isn’t difficult with one of their cleaning kits.
I believe this is a cheap upgrade for your engine that provides benefits for the life of the vehicle.
