For the past several years, I’ve been using K&N filters in all of my vehicles. I just recently purchased a Smart Car and put a K&N filter in it also. The performance and gas mileage increased just like the advertising says for this product. It also saves me a lot of money over time by not having to replace it, just clean it every 50,000 miles!

I’ve seen what I think is a good acceleration increase. I’m not seeing any boost to MPGs. It really looks good in my smart and seems more durable than the paper one that was installed previously.

I like the added exhaust growl. Combined with a ram air side scoop on my Smart 451. Has made my Smart better at uphill highway speeds.

As always, when I buy a K&N filters for my vehicles from Amazon, I know that I am getting a quality product. The filter simply pops into the air-box on my Smart 451 Turbo Cabriolet. Lovely deeper sound on acceleration as well as I can always feel that extra voomah when overtaking. Highly recommended.
