I’ve purchased K&N filters before for my other vehicles. This time for my Jaguar XK with the 5.0 engine. Package came with 2 filters as in the image. Its important you install both at them one on each side of the car or else you will likely get a CEL to come on. Installation wasn’t too hard just takes patience but the filters slide right in the housing unit with no problem. I put about 1K miles on the car since installing with no CEL lights or other warnings. Acceleration is definitely better as with other K&N filters I bought for my other vehicles.

I was about to send these back because the picture on the box showed a round filter like they used on cars in the 60’s. I checked the part number, which was correct, so I opened the box and found two rectangular filters. That’s weird packaging.
Anyway… People either love these filters or they hate them. I’m not going to contribute to the great K&N debate. I think they are good filters.

Fitment is good, very very tight however. 2012 Jaguar XK base model. The filter goes into the cartridge just fine, however returning the cartridge to the air box took a bit of force. I used a rubber mallet to seat the cartridge fully. I then removed it again to be certain that I hadn’t rolled over the lip of the filter or something like that — it was indeed seated properly — so I put each back, had to hammer it in again. Excellent but be careful!
