Great fuel pump. Replaced my old pump because I felt it was not pumping enough fuel at higher speeds. The K&N name has a reputation of excellence and quality. Using this product on my boat which has a 350 Mercruiser engine 1999. I installed a new carb but engine would still stall at 4000 rpm. Replaced fuel pump and wow, great performance out of my boat for the last month or so.

Installed this pump on my 1968 Ford F-100 pickup. Fit nicely in the frame. Very easy to wire. Works like a charm!

Absolutely first class. Pushes enough fuel for a 3.5 litre Rover engine with no trouble at all. Good rubber mountings, and sturdy fittings. Perfect.

Using this pump as a replacement for the original mechanical pump on a 1.6-liter Datsun motor with a Weber 32/36 carb.. Some key notes: 1. This pump has to be positioned at a sufficiently low level else it will not prime. As long as the position is good, it primes up almost instantly. 2. This pump does not deliver the advertised pressure – this seems a common feature of most electric fuel pumps. Fortunately my required pressure is only 3psi, and this it can do consistently through a small fuel pressure regulator. 3. Cannot comment yet on durability or reliability, but so far so good.

Not good. At all. Bought this to feed a Weber 2 Barrel which only needs 2-3 PSI of pressure, so I put it through a regulator. It seemed to struggle a little to keep up 3 PSI under throttle but I assumed it was due to the regulator. I was wrong. A few weeks after installing my engine dies after an intersection and won’t start again. The fuel pump is making the awful hammering noise that it makes when the car sits for a while and it needs to draw from the gas tank. Except this time it’s not getting gas at all from a half full tank after running fine for a few minutes. I mounted it low and at a 45-degree angle just like the instructions and some other reviewers said to. So it’s definitely a flaw with the pump itself. I’ve owned many K&N air and oil filters and have been pleased with their flow and effectiveness, but it seems thats where this company’s expertise ends. Save the K&N products for the filters in your fuel systems. Don’t make the mistake of getting their pumps.

The discharge side keeps leaking once it builds any pressure on it, changed fittings on that side 3 times tried different thread seals and still no go.
John Walker –
This is a great product for any flathead car enthusiasts.
Quiet, easy to install.

Had been fighting made in Korea mechanical pumps for a Chevy 261, and eventually just gave up on them and went electric. I would never look back. This pump pushes plenty of fuel without overcoming the needle and seat in the original Rochester carburetor. I had the 4 – 9 psi model, and it works flawlessly. Nice and quiet considering, and you can’t really hear it even with the engine off. Don’t try and make cheap parts work when made in the USA will do the job.
Luther Matney –
Worked perfect for my truck. It was easy to install too.

3amp fuse! Easy to wire up to a cigaret plug or 12v outlet. If you use a larger fuse it will over heat the pump and it will not work. That’s why you see others giving bad reviews. When you buy this get a pack of 3amp glass standard size fuses for a cigaret plug or an inline fuse holder with a 3amp fuse. I use this for off road applications for where there are no fuel stations. I have a 13 gallon aluminum tank I transfer fuel from into my truck. It took 20 minutes to transfer the 13 gallons and only started getting slightly hot around the 10th gallon. Do not run the pump dry, it stays cool and lubricated by the fuel going though it. It will also work on a 2amp fuse but it will pump a little slower.
