The first time I worked on my Sport Trac transmission I used a small pipe nipple to perform the job this adapter does. It worked fine, but this KIMISS Fluid Fill Adapter is the correct part for filling your closed transmission. Since I’m due for another fluid replacement it’s time to get the correct part ahead of the job.
There are good videos on YT showing how to perform fluid changes on this transmission. If you haven’t had any experience yet, then I highly recommend watching one. You will find it isn’t as bad as you would think. I will again be reviewing one before doing the job.
Haven’t used this particular adapter yet, but it’s a decent quality made part and not very complicated, so I don’t anticipate having issues with its performance.
