The cord could be a bit longer.
It is just the right size for the oil pan on my drive to work junker.

I ride my motorcycle year-round in Illinois. When it gets below 20 degrees the bike doesn’t want to start because the oil is thick and cold.
I installed this and it works great. I only run it for 2 hours because it gets so hot.

Used Permatex RTV Ultra Red to seal up the edges of the heater as per the instructions – which coincidentally has the same coloration as the pad itself. I was a little confused seeing some of the user photos on here where the pad looked like it had melted!
Speaking of, it’s probably a very poor idea to plug this heater in without a heatsink IE your engine block. Don’t do that.
