Works just fine just wish gm made the upper radiator hose longer to fit around the alternator instead of removing upper hose

The alternator is fine but the voltage regulator was defective. It was charging at 17 volts DC. This is far too much voltage and could ruin the battery burn out light bulbs and other related damage. I would still recommend this alternator but be sure to check the output voltage with a volt meter. I had to purchase another voltage regulator from Amazon. It now works fine.
