I got this Camel Energy multi-function jump starter to keep in the SUV primarily as an emergency jump-starter, but also for its tire inflation and its power bank functionality. You charge it through its USB-C input port. (A USB-A to USB-C cable is included but an AC adapter is not).
Once charged you can use it as a jump-starter by connecting the jump-start cable to its dedicated outlet (that’s covered by a tethered silicone cover). The jump-start functionality is smart. It warns you if you’ve reversed the polarity, or if the temperature is too high, and it lets you know if it’s ready to go. When I first wrote this review, I warned that I didn’t have a dead battery-car to test it. But I’m revising my review because, in a massive coincidence, my 1992 Acura Legend (3.2L V6) needed a jump start the day after I got this jump-starter. It was able to start my Acura on the 2nd try. For my 1st attempt I probably didn’t wait long enough after connecting the jump-starter, and so it turned over briefly but didn’t start. The 2nd try, I waited about 1 minute before turning the ignition key, and it started right up. Woo hoo! Now I know that I can rely on it! (But now I have to figure out why my battery died.)
As tire inflator, it’s very intuitive and very fast. It’s slightly faster than my fastest Li-Ion tire inflator. (I have 4 for my 4 vehicles and I’ve given 3 to relatives for presents. I’ve timed all 7 for inflation speed.) Timed with a stopwatch for my SUV tires… When filling the tire from 32 psi to 34 psi, this Camel Energy inflator only took ~38 seconds (or 19-seconds per psi). That’s impressive.
Unfortunately, the digital meter is off by 1 PSI. When I set it to 34 PSI, it inflated my tire to 35 PSI (according to my 2 trusted digital tire pressure gauges) before automatically shutting off. That’s disappointing, but I’ll tape a note to it saying to set the pressure 1 PSI lower than desired.
The inflator can be set for different pressure measurement types, like PSI, Bar, Kpa, & kg/cm2.
There are user-created pressure presets for 4 different targets (like car, motorcycle, & bike). You connect the hose to the inflator and the tire, you set your chosen pressure, and turn it on. It stops inflating when it reaches the set pressure.
The unit comes with a clamp-on Shrader connector for Shrader valves (like those used on cars and most bikes). It also comes with a Shrader-to-Presta adapter for inflating Presta-valve tires. And it comes with nozzles for inflating toys, and a needle for inflating balls.
The unit has a built-in flashlight and emergency-flasher light which work whether or not the tire is being pumped. That’s a great feature—especially for nighttime inflation, and extra especially for nighttime roadside inflation.
The unit can be used as a 24,000 mAh power bank with a USB-A port and a USB-C port that can be used to charge devices like smartphones. It is not auto-sensing, so you have to turn it on in order to charge devices. It does not support fast-charging from its USB-A port, but it supports fast-charging (not super-fast charging) from its USB-C port.
It comes in a nice case. It’s only about twice the size of Li-Ion tire inflator that doesn’t have jump-start capability. That’s great.
The user manual is very well written, but the product is so intuitive that I didn’t need to read it before using it for inflation.
The price ($99.99 at the time of this review) is reasonable for a jump-starter with this level of cold-cranking amps. I like the multi-use functionality, and ease-of-use of this Camel Energy jump starter, so I’m giving it 5-stars.

I’ve used both the air compressor function and the battery function of this device and both worked as promised. I was able to top off a low pressure tire and to charge a neighbor’s car. I was actually pretty proud of myself because I did it alone and I only have limited experience with car maintenance. I think this is great to keep in the car and gives some peace of mind that you’ll be ready for some emergencies. I’m not sure how long it takes to charge since I just kept it plugged in overnight, and I’m not sure how long the charge holds on standby—I plan to charge it monthly so it’s always ready. It feels heavy duty enough to last for years. It functioned as it was supposed to and was easy to use. I think it’s a good value for the money, especially if it gets you out of a sticky situation—the peace of mind is worth it. I also really like that it can be used to charge a phone if necessary.

This device works great and is not badly priced for a combo battery jumper and air tire. It is not as compact as other battery jumpers but I assume it is because it is a two in one device. I do like that the handle and be collapsed so it is out of the way. The battery case 50 percent charged so I charge it’s to full over night. It does discharge over time so be aware of that when you are storing it for long term. It does not discharge quickly or anything. The battery has a screen to show you settings and battery level which is nice. The screen is prone to scratches so be away of that. It is bigger than you usual device like this but it is compact and comes in a bag to make it easier to store in your car. Do not leave it out in the sun as the heat can damage the battery. The jumper cable is not really long so you have to be close to the battery which is fine. There are grip bottom to keep it from sliding. The same goes for the tire pump. It has a short length which can be annoying when the nozzle for the tire is higher up. It does not pump too fast compared to other tire pumps that are plugged in. It is loud though. It pumps decently and good for emergency. It does take up a good charge to pump all four tires and the nozzle can be hot if you are pumping all 4 consecutively. The battery jumping allows for a max of maybe 3 battery jumps but two is where I would draw the line. It does jump the battery pretty quickly and there is a boost on the jumper cable to provide more power. It jump my car once without much problems. The battery takes a few hours to charge. The casing is well built but it can feel heavy. It is easy to use in terms of jumping the battery and pumping the tires. All the parts are well built. It can also do things like charge your phone and tablet in an emergency. It uses type c and usb ports. It does support fast charging. It does take a few hours to charge the battery to full. Overall I am pretty happy with this battery jumper and air pump. It jumps the battery without issue. The tire pump is slower on battery but it gets the job done in an emergency. The device also has plenty of power to charge your phone in an emergency. It is well built but big. The screen information is nice but it is prone to scratches. The bag is well made and can store all the cables as needed. It works well for the price.
