Well for starters, these lip seal protectors/installers for the AOD work. I had 2 of them that required a little bit of sanding, but with 5 min of work they fit and I was able to install the pistons into the clutch hubs. I think they’ll last, I have 2 more AOD transmissions to rebuild. Seems like decent quality, and because the Ford tooling is no longer available, these are budget friendly and do the job.

This is the one you want. I have tried the others and they do not fit like this one. Don’t make my mistake and buy the other brands and tear up lip seals. I waited until I installed all of the pistons before I left my review. Durable. Functional. And dirt cheap. Buy this one.
