Got this suction type phone holder cause most of my vehicle dash and it’s surface aren’t that smooth and are texture. This holder hold my One Plus phone securely and even while off roading on rough road. It hold the phone securely and the phone have yet to fall off.
It also comes with a pad that was a double side tape for those with a dash that doesn’t have a smooth surface. Installation is super easy and all you do is just place the holder down and twist the outside base clockwise and it will pull the middle part of the suction up creating a strong vacuum. Great phone holder that is simple to use.

I got this to use with my Samsung S24 Ultra which I have inside a magsafe phone case. It hangs onto my phone very securely.
It suctions to many different surfaces as long as they are smooth. When you turn the ring on the base you can feel it grab and pull tighter. Once locked in there is no pulling it off without turning the base back to open and even then you wil still need go break the seal by pulling the little tab on the suction cup.
The magnetic phone holder is very strong and held my phone even when I shook it violently trying to see if it would come off.
It does come with a metal ring that you can attach to your phone or case by pulling the clear tab to reveal the sticky side. Then peel the blue protective coating off the outside and your phone is n9w ready to attach to any magnetic phone device.
It also come with a silicone base that you can stick to your dash or any other uneven/bumpy surface to get a better suction.
The only thing I wish it could do is hold my phone out to the side when on a vertical surface. The weight of your phone will make it drop to the down position and there is no way to lock it in place. So, you can only orient your phone to the top or bottom in both landscape and portrait when it’s on a vertical surface. The ability to lock it out to the side would come in handy when you are a passenger and want to put your phone on the window beside you and have the phone pointed out in front of you slightly. If you try the phone will just drop to the downward position.

So I drove around for several hours after positioning this on the inside left side of the windshield and attached my iPhone 15. It held it very well; didn’t drop once. So, it’s very effective. It took me a few tries to find the correct position, no problem though. That’s how I’ll be using this product. Why? because it’s easy to touch the screen and see if I have urgent messages, or use Siri while I’m driving. I didn’t want to use a more “permanent” solution, like the adhesive ring that can be attached to the dashboard, you might.
I’m a little concerned with the durability of the tension of the ring’s position. In a certain position my iPhone 15 was heavy enough to make it fold, slowly but over a long car ride it was noticeable the the position had changed, to the point I couldn’t clearly see the face of my phone. The suction though is very good.
It’s not very easy to turn the little right that make it stuck onto a flat, smooth surface. It’s basically a suction action. There are 2 rings that rotate, one that creates more suction to attach or loosen the base and another one that rotates to your desired position. Curiously,directional arrows on the lower ring are not accurate–are the reverse of their intended use! The “on” –> makes it looser so the unit can be removed. Not a biggie though. Once you operate the lower ring you’ll know which rotation does what.

No complaints! This works great! It suctions nicely to my window, and the grip is strong. It holds my phone up like a champ, and I can swivel it in any direction and the thing doesn’t budge. It also tucks away nicely (like it collapses), so it’s discrete when not in use. It even comes with an extra magnetic ring and a sticky pad in case you don’t want to attach it to your window or if the surface you have is uneven. Overall, this is a great product and I recommend it!
