This little part saved us from throwing out our chest freezer we purchased from a local “big box” store.
There’s a video on YOUTUBE on how to install. Only took a couple of minutes…very easy.
If your chest freezer (we have an Igloo), lights are on, but the ice is melted inside…this is what you need. Plus you’ll have an extra one. Its a little ceramic disk inside, and I guess on the Igloo brand freezer… they are know to crack.
Our chest freezer is working again! Yeah!

This SAVED us from having to buy another freezer. Our Freezer was just over a year old when it died. Apparently, EVERYONE has this problem. We lost HUNDREDS of dollars worth of food, while we were at a Gluten-Free Expo, buying more expensive food. I was super sad and REALLY UPSET.
This is the MAGIC PART & it is pretty easy to install. You need to use a screwdriver to Pop the casing off of the part in the Freezer, then it is SUPER easy to replace the old one for the new one. When you take out the old one, if you shake it, it probably rattles. That is because the Stupid Curtis Freezers are made with a cheap part that breaks on most everyone’s freezer.
We also bought an alarm so if this happens again, we might be able to save our food. We got the Two-pack, it was a better deal and if it happened again, we have a backup part.

Kegerator would try to start cooling, but would only run the condenser for a second or two then shut off. It would try to start up every minute or so with the same result. I changed the start relay, plugged it in and it worked like a charm and cools like it did when it was new. I took the old one apart and it had a broken disc inside. I am delighted that it was an easy fix and the product arrived so quickly.

My igloo chest freezer stopped cooling after 2 years. I did some research and found this maybe the problem. For the money it was worth a shot to try to replace the part. I just kept track of what I was unplugging so I could plug it back in the correct spot and it worked! Saved us from buying a new freezer!!

My mini Frigidaire with freezer went out. It was making some clicking noises and the compressor would not start. After some research I found out that this might be the problem. I could not tell if it was actually this part. Per the info you had to remove the part, shake it and if you heard something moving inside it needed replacement. But no sound. I tested the compressor with a multimeter and it looked good. So I said what the H. I bought this, replaced it and fridge started working again.
It has been four days and no problems. Good thing it was sold in a pair just in case.

This is easy to install depending on what kind of appliances you have , it work great on my igloo freezer so far. Make sure you take the picture of the original wiring to just in case you lost when you re wire this because there is no wiring instructions that comes with it.

Ordered the RCA Freezer from Amazon just a little over 2 years ago and on Saturday night when I went to get something out of it, I could tell it had quit working. Thank goodness I was able to save all of the food and stuff it into the freezer on our refrigerator in order to keep it frozen. Went on line to check the warranty and saw reviews from previous customers about the relay going out on the freezer. I watched a video and decided to take a chance that that was the problem and placed an order on Sunday. Received the parts on Wednesday and replaced the old relay Wednesday night after work. I could tell within a couple of hours that the freezer was working again and as of this time it is freezing great, so the 2pcs P2-4.7 Start Relay was a great fix and I’m so thankful that I was able to repair the freezer as such a low cost. Will keep the other Relay and hope I don’t have to use it for a long time!
