This part was installed on a 2017 Cadillac Escalade and was direct replacement of the original. Functional and priced very nice. Over 1000 cranks later and still going.

It’s a cheaper alternative for a reason, the quality is not there. My starter lasted 6 months and half of that time wasn’t even driven. No warranty available. It will work, it does fit and function, but only for a short time. Install is easy, 2 bolts and a couple of connectors (after getting vehicle lifted and wheel removed) expect 45mins to an hour with little experience.

Just installed it. Works well enough. There was a little issue with the unit itself. I purchased a new pigtail wire harness for the starter.
The starter female part was too deep for the male pigtail to plug into. It’s plastic so, I cut off a 1/16 ” and sanded it down a little to get the plug to snap in. Worked great at this point.
There is also a hole in the casing that is where the Positive wire travels through on the opposite side. That is not on the online pictures. The manufacture inserted a rubber plug in its place to fix it. Why is it there? I don’t know.

I did have an issue with the first item I received—it was defective right out of the box. However, the company quickly shipped a replacement, and it worked perfectly fine. Aside from that, I’m really happy with the product. The price is significantly lower than what you’d pay at an auto store for a similar replacement, making it a great deal overall. Once I got the replacement, it performed as expected, and I’m satisfied with the quality for the price.
