Pretty cool product. I used this on a 95 Eagle talon Tsi and it worked flawlessly for the first 5 months I had it. After that I had the car down for an engine rebuild and then when I got it back the wide-band just keeps blinking 7.4 repeatedly. Not sure what the issue is, but hopefully it is not a replacement sensor, as those run about $70 from innovate, or as much as $120 if you get the bosch sensor from VW or a parts store. Not a bad price either, most “performance” websites charged over $200 for this same item. Will buy from them again 🙂

I have two of these widebands, each on a different car. The unit in my prelude functions flawlessly. The one in my RX-7 has an issue with intermittently showing 8AFR, which may be attributed to overheating. Sometimes it happens for a few minutes, sometimes for the entire drive. The exhaust temp in the Mazda is more extreme than most vehicles, so I’m not really surprised. Otherwise, the ease of installation and accuracy are pretty good. I would like if the wiring was slightly heavier gauged, but that doesn’t seem to be a factor in the function–more of a preference for installation.

I ordered this kit and did a permanent install on my Ford Ranger. I’m tuning with a SCT X-Cal 2 so I integrated the Wideband into Live Link for SCT. Using the Analog 2 output and a modified equation, I am ACCURATELY able to log my A/F ratio Through Live Link, VERY USEFUL! After correcting for ground offsets and logging A/F through Live Load, my average A/F in Live Link is SPOT ON with the gauge.
Very nice unit for the money, and money well spent. Best price i could find on the internet.

Didn’t care for it at all.
Cons:
The wiring was the worst. You need a controller for this type and the O2 lead is like 8ft long and that takes up more space behind the dash.
The wires to attach the power etc, are FREAKY small! the smallest connectors will not crimp and they have some sort of filament in the strands that makes soldering a pain so they break easy.
I did manage to get it hooked up but it just didn’t want to work. It read the same as if it were in the pipe or dangling free in open air.
The face of the gauge scratches real easy too.
Pros:
The instructions were clear and easy to follow and the website had goo information.
Mine was just a total dud and I bought an AEM to replace this one. Dollar for Dollar, the AEM was better for me.

I installed this on a motorcycle which is probably not the typical usage, but with the purchase of a mounting cup this gauge was easy to install, works great, and looks good too. My only issue, and this is a warning that pertains mostly to bike owners but the harness was HUGE and took some creativity to stash away.

I installed this on my ’04 F150 after I supercharged it. Having the A/F ratio is a great diagnostic tool to allow you see when something may be wrong before more damage is done. I had a throttle position sensor go bad and was able to see that sensor failure through bad A/F ratios. Additionally, having the wideband O2 sensor helps out with tuning, especially if its an internet tuner. The wires from the harness are quite small, but if you take your time and solder things carefully, everything works perfectly.

Very good kit. It was easy to install. The instructions are clear and concise. The only issue I had was calibration because I forgot to read that part till later. However, that was user error and no fault of the kit. Upon following the included instructions, the kit works fantastic. The gauge is easy to read and the logging software you can download from the website works amazingly. I am legitimately amazed that they not only supply the kit, but the logging software for free with it. Very helpful for fine tuning things and I found out later that you can custom program the analog outputs (for instance if you needed to program one to be narrowband). Very very awesome package for the money.
