I would give this 1 star but it does look like the switch belongs in the spot I originally installed it. installing it on the dash was a pain cause I had to pull so much stuff off just to get to the mounting point next to traction/stability control.
I installed this switch on my Evo to control some accessory lights. Could not get the switch to work properly so I contacted customer support. They instructed my to install a relay cause it cannot handle large amperage (the lights were 1 amp max draw). Once I installed a relay, the switch still did not work.
I began to check the connections on the pig tail of the switch and came across that the ground and battery positive was working and allowed the switch to appear that it was functioning. The output on the switch was not working, neither was the blue wire to activate the light on the switch.
In the demo video, it shows the switch lit up when the blue wire receives power, but only the fog light symbol part. My blue wire makes the bottom bar shaped light turn on when it receives power. I could never get the fog light symbol to light up.
Pressing the switch without the blue wire connected to anything lights up the bar shaped light. Pressing it again turns it off. When the blue wire has power, that bar shaped light is always on as long as it has a power supply to the blue wire.
Once again called support and they insist my connection were bad, so I bought a multimeter to check them all… All my connections were made properly and had continuity. Even pulling the green plug on the pigtail to jump the battery positive to accessory positive terminal allowed the lights to work. The only non working item I can lead everything back to, was the switch itself. Customer service keeps telling me that the switch is not the issue…
The switch has been taken out and thrown aside. The pigtail and wires were used on another switch I bought that so happed to work perfectly other than not being able to mount in the open hole I have now (until I reinstall the OEM blank switch). The new switch is just hanging under the fuse compartment currently. Still puzzles me how they told me on multiple occasions that their switch was not the problem (but this other switch works perfect)….

It works, but feels kind of flimsy. Would love for it to have a better feel to it like OEM. Other than that, it’s decent.

As you can see, this ‘Mitsubishi’ switch is not compatible with an 07 eclipse. Seller falsely claims that it fits, Amazon also states that it fits my vehicle. Waste of money/time

Only down side is that the orange light in the button is a little darker tone than the OEM buttons
