They say in the description they’re made for 3157 bulbs. they dont fit the bulbs, they dont make contact with the terminals on the bulbs, even if you bend the terminals to get contact, they wont maintain the connection.
I sent the seller a description of what was going on with the product, he replied with ways to “rig” the sockets to work with LEDs.
After sending him another message to explain that I wasnt trying to use LEDs but trying to use them for the bulbs for which they were designed. His response was to wrap the bulb with electrical tape to hold it in.—what an interesting way to start a fire that would be.

They fit like original equipment I soldered them in the harnesses and heat shrink them and instead new led bulbs and we are good to go

When I ordered these lights I was skeptical due to the mixed reviews. However I feel that like with many products you should test them for yourself instead of just “drag and drop”, especially when it comes to your car.
I tested the light sockets by testing the wires and measuring voltage across the contacts. That way I could determine which wire was ground, parking light, and brake light, and which way I would feed the bulb. See the pictures for the sockets with and without the brand new red LEDs I bought.
As for bulb fitting into the sockets, the key is to do your homework. Make sure your bulb is the correct number. If you are even more worried then measure it. I haven’t yet tested to see if the socket would fit into the housing, but even if it is a little big I’m sure I can figure it out. Even though cars use the same bulb model the socket only has to vary a little to make this socket unusable. I wish everything were standardized, but that’s not the case, so this is a $10 risk. But then again, what’s $10 if you can add a new socket or replace an old one? My sockets were CK sockets and incompatible with LEDs; These are standard sockets so now I can use them.
In the end it’s your choice.

I had a broken light bulb socket. Was going to splice this in but figured out how to get connector apart and used my factory harness side and used the bulb socket side from one of these. It snapped right in oem part. Doing so I could tell just how cheaply made these were. Still works great though. And for the price, I can’t knock it very much.
