My truck coils kept going out because I had really bad spark plugs. The mechanic charged me $700 and never did the job. That caused my coils to burn out after replacing them. After changing all spark plugs… the truck runs good and does not burn out ignition coils. This ignition coil fit well and did not throw a engine code. It seems as good as oem so far. We will see how long this lasts. This coil fix my issue and my truck is running.

Ordered this New Ignition Coil DG511 – for Ford F-150 – 4.6L for my truck. My engine has had a light vibration while sitting at stop light while in gear and kept noticing every time I pulled up to a stop, while still in gear. When mentioning to my neighbor/mechanic friend, he advised it’s probably one of the coils going bad and/or went bad. So I ask a couple local dealers about one and they didn’t have in stock, but ask me (2) prices for one coil. So I started shopping online, and found this single coil pack and ordered it.
I stopped by my mechanic friend and left my truck so he could install it and hook it up to his computer.
He called me next day, advised that it was one bad coil and he replaced it, and was ready to pick up.
When driving my truck home, it ran like new again, no vibration or missing. This fixed my problem.
I liked this brand new coil as it looked just like my old OEM one and worked like a charm.
It comes with a one year warranty for peace of mind. Happy with order
