It is those little things that just makes the whole project a dream to complete. Was stright forward in installing. Have not had any issues for the year i had it. It has stayed tight and i do not have to worry about it at all.
Myth & Legend –
Good product overall. Fit the Optima battery it was stated to fit, D34/78, and allowed me to engineer a custom setup for my aux battery with minimal weight or loss of space. Also looks very professional as it is minimalist and a nice piece of gear. One issue is the the 6 countersunk bugle screw that hold the bottom of the tray to your vehicle let the bugle form the screw protrude below the bottom of the tray. This means you will have to countersink or drill a large hole than the threaded bolt itself in order get the tray to sit flush on a flat surface. If not, the screw can be tight, but the tray can have up and down movement. Not cheap, but again a nice piece of equipment for the job. Solid fasteners, and decent finish. Photo shows aux battery mounted over wheel well on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Worked abstemiously great for my battery relocation in my vintage muscle car. It’s a very solid mount that doesn’t move a speck.
The Billet CNC work was done very nicely. All threads were clean and the hardware included were high grade nuts and bolts.
I’ll probably purchase the universal tray in the future…

I had an issue with my Optima battery, which decided to turn into a projectile once the cheaper bracket that I had installed decided to let go. I have then decided to put the extra money for this and the quality feels 100x better than what I found in parts stores. There are enough holding holes for it to be fixed in a wide range of mostly flat surfaces and I have the feeling the car would crush entirely before this bracket decides to abandon life.

This is perfect to hold your battery in place, now my optima doesnt move at all, and if i try hard enough the whole vehicle moves with it. I had to modify mine a little bit but since its aluminum the material is easy to work with. Highly recommend, looks professionally done in my truck.

Installed this in my International Scout II. I had a level and easy area to access this bolted right in to the six holes that I drilled using the unit as a template. Very nice stainless hardware provided. My battery is very secure and I’m very happy with the unit. This tray only holds by the bottom, if you were planning a horizontal or inverted mounting you may like to consider a tray thay encompasses the wrap around design. This unit is beautifully made, machinework is flawless. Really perfect for a hot rod or show car that wishes for a battery tray that is unobtrusive.

I ordered this to mount the Optima battery in my custom Meyers Manxter dune buggy. The machining is very nicely done and the fit is excellent. Installation was straightforward, and the quality of the hardware is very good. It looks custom, and it does not clutter up the top of the battery with any hardware. The base is machined just thick enough to be rigid, and it raises the overall height of the battery less than a quarter of an inch. In my application, the battery is mounted on the floor pan under the rear bucket seat, so clearance is an issue. This hold down did the job with room to spare.

Purchased off amazon but when I got the product I was missing most of the hardware (package was torn open) A quick email to ICT and they had the hardware pack out to me in no time, no questions asked. I’ve used a few things from ICT on my LS Swap and I can say I am very happy with their products and their customer support
