I replaced a Honeywell R4184D1027 with this model like another reviewer did. That Honeywell model is no longer made and the replacement one is $105 VS this one for like $65. Like another reviewer my boiler was stopping and we would wake up to no hot water. You could tap the side of the old Honeywell control and the burner would fire right up. I used this brand at my last house (not sure if same part #) and it worked fine so figured I’d give it a shot with my current issues. So far it’s been running fine since install over a couple weeks ago. Time will tell but for $65 I think it’s a good deal. Keep in mind if the unit you are replacing has no TT connections you will need to jumper those as seen in my pic with some wire.

GREAT VALUE! 🤙🏻
I replaced the Honeywell product (R4184 D 1027) with no issues. Straightforward and easy installation. I am not an HVAC professional by any stretch, but completed the swap in under 10 minutes. The Seller also includes contact info (call or text!) if you encounter any issues. 🙌🏻🙂
I was experiencing an intermittent ‘no-start’ problem with my boiler. If you “knocked” on the primary control, it would fire right up. After waking up to a cold house multiple times, I ordered this replacement (half the cost of a Honeywell) based on many positive reviews and my own research. Once installed, my boiler purrs like a kitten! The wire colors on the ICM model align with the Honeywell, so no guesswork as to which wire goes where. I recommend doing one at a time to avoid confusing them!
I now have no more intermittent starting issues. In the photos, I’ve shown the Honeywell Primary Control I replaced, along with the ICM model in its place. The third photo shows the required ‘jumper wire’ I installed on the ‘T’ terminals (thermostat) as in my application, they are not used, but without ‘jumping’ the terminals to complete the thermostat circuit, the unit will not function.
Will update if unit develops any issues, but none foreseen and I am VERY happy with this purchase – I am speaking on both the product and the seller! Thank you! 🙂

Works great

The guy who used to service my boiler said he was experiencing a lot more failures that he used to see with the Honeywell, so I decided to try this one.
Significantly lighter and cheaper than the Honeywell it replaced. If I needed to replace it again, I would buy this.
Just a hint though: turned out my controller was probably okay – it was my photocell that was misbehaving. I assumed the photocell would last forever, but it doesn’t, and it’s cheap and easy part to replace, so try that first.

This product has been reliable. I have used in my heater unit before and I have found it to be a good product.
