D-trick –
The item I received was exactly as described & solved my door lock problem. In the summer my drivers door lock would not work unless I used the key, but would work properly during the winter. This part solved my problem. All doors will lock/unlock with the fob, button, or key.

It turns out that this unit was made in China and did not meet Hyundai specs for the part. The cable that attaches to the external door handle was made too long and the handle would not open the door from the outside.
On the upside, the vendor did issue me a refund for the sale.

I’ll try to make this short. Imo a little tricky to install cause you have to take the door window out, the window motor panel out, and some white plastic out and try to be careful cause the plastic will strip and break if your not careful. Take your time doing taking these items apart, and there is alot of bolts, and screws.
As for the item goes, it has the right amount length of cable for the lock and the inside door handle. So you don’t have to be rough with it when opening the door to get out of the car. My only problem with it was the original door actuator had weather stripping felt between the actuator lock and outer part of the door where you screw it into with 3 screws. This does NOT, so keep that in mind before you install it.
