These work GREAT on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ladero! Took all of 5 minutes to install. Of course as always I looked at a youtube video first.
Clifford Carroll –
I worry when I buy something like this if it actually fits. No worries with these. They fit. They do the job. They took me just about 3 minutes to install. Excellent!

Perfect for my 2004 Grand Cherokee. Easy to install and solved the problem of my hood not staying up.

For about 2 years my hood struts on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo have been broken and I’ve been using a broom stick to hold the hood open when I need access to the engine. I finally figured I should stop be lazy and fix the issue. I checked around and found prices at my local auto parts stores to be around $16 to $22 per strut. Well, I saw these on Amazon for less than $14 for TWO STRUTS! I figured I’d try them. Installation was a “snap” and took about 3 minutes. And the funny thing? They work better than the original struts supplied by JEEP! Now I unlatch the hood and it rises up under it’s own power! My Jeep struts didn’t do that when the Jeep was brand new! Well worth purchasing.
