Fixed my fuel leak problem. The original fuel pumps have a defect where once they wear out, they leak fuel out a small hole all over the exhaust area which can catch fire. I bought a mower with this leak problem. Replaced the fuel pump and seems to run better with no fuel leak. If it does leak someday from wearing out, you are supposed to put a small fuel line tube on the bottom part and run through the frame so it drips on the ground instead of the hot exhaust.

Repaired a pals mower that caught fire with this. Perfect replacement fit other than it has one extra nipple on it and no instructions what to do with it. I plugged off the extra one and it works fine that way.

Product arrived quickly and was of good quality. I was able yo install snd get back to work

Fit my JD 345 and works fine. I can buy 6 of these for the price of a JD fuel pump.

Much more budget friendly than the Genuine unit from the manufacturer. Working well so far.

I bought this fuel pump for my John Deere LX178. It will bolt on but the lower of the 2 gasline fittings is in the wrong position. It is placed to far to the back, which places it against the valve cover making it impossible to slide on the gas line tubing due to the interference of the valve cover. I sent it back for the refund and bought the more expensive OEM part from the local John Deere dealer which fit perfectly and all gaslines attached with no problems.

This pump has 3 hose connection, while the original had only 2 (from the tank, and to the carb). The 3rd connection appears to be just a vent, as the John Deere schematic simple shows a short piece of hose connected to that 3rd connection. So, I added a 6″ piece of hose and vented it below the frame. The pump works fine, and it’s easy to change. Be sure to replace the fuel filter while you are at it. Saves about $100 over the JD part.
