I purchased this ignition coil for my
Nissan Sentra 2001 with a QG 1.8 litre engine.After the coil was installed the CEL went off but the engine still have a
misfire.I observed that this coil does not have the name Hitachi engraved on the top except for the +G I B and number IGC0054 and made in Japan label.I’ve purchased the Hitachi coil before and is labelled : +GIB Hitachi 22448 4M500. CMII-205. OX17. Is that why the top of the coil is not shown in the image? I’m very disappointed with the purchase.

I purchased these for my 2000 Nissan Sentra 1.8 GXE. The original ones were going bad so I was in the market for some new ignition coils. I first tried some aftermarket AIP Coils but these gave me CEL Ignition circuitry errors and engine was misfiring. After replacing all 4 coils with these Hitachi OEM coils the misfiring issues I had went away and not returned in 4 months I have been using these, No issues at all with these.
