Worked beautifully on 1997 Nissan Maxima. Great Price too. Cleared up a “Check Engine” light fault. Had previously installed a non-OEM ignition coil in an emergency (check engine light was blinking and car misfiring), which stopped the blinking light, but the solid light remained.
Used an Autel MaxiScan MS310 CAN Diagnostic Scan Tool for OBDII Vehicles to read the fault code which turned out to be a Nissan specific code which I then had to looked up on the internet. (Coil for cylinder #2)
I studied up on the problem and learned that Maxima’s computer brain often rejects non-OEM ignition coils as not meeting the specs, which is why I got this coil.

OEM quality worked great on my 1998 I30.

Perfect fit, and cleared my misfire code. Need I say more.

Contra las marcas chinas esta bobina hitachi es la mejor y más confiable… en bobinas no hay que correr riesgos e ir por la mejor.

drive more than 500 miles no more error code for Nissan Maxima 1998

These are OEM coils for the 1999 Maxima, and installing them instantly resolved the “Service Engine Soon” light (after resetting the codes using a scan tool).
The code was set by the Nissan computer when aftermarket coils were installed. The different electrical impedance of the aftermarket coils results in an improper voltage across the coils, which is detected by the ECU (the computer) causing a code to be set. (Cannot pass inspection with a code set in many states.)

Solved my misfire, Ive claimed all the coils at the local junkyard as mine and now they’ve failed so I finally made the buy for brand spanking new and these babies are the go to for Nissan and to keep that pesky engine light off. 🤙🤙🤙🙏🙏🙏

Perfect fit, and works great. This ignition coil is for cylinders 2,4 & 6 on my 97 Maxima. That’s for the side of the engine that points to the front bumper.

Works so far and you can’t beat the price!
