Worked nicely for a couple weeks. But now my fuel gauge no longer reads accurately. Update: Contacted the seller with issue, the seller sent out a new pump immediately, it is currently working well without issue. 2000 jetta, 2L, gas

2003 gti 1.8t – Perfect fit, so far a couple of hundred miles on it and it’s working great, Fast shipping too. I noticed a lot of reviews saying the fuel gauge wasn’t reading correctly or at all…so before I installed I looked the unit over and realized the floater assembly was getting hung up on a corner of plastic by the wire connection on the unit. Trimmed off the litttle bit of plastic and made sure the floater moved freely before install and its been reading the correct amount of gas.

The Amazon website said this would fit my vehicle but it is very very different. I’m sure it’s a great product, it looks and feels like a quality part. Thankfully Amazon worked with me to get me what is hopefully the correct pump. Probably not the seller’s fault.

Worked good for my 99.5 alh tdi. Was a tight squeeze in the tank with the gasket. But a little extra time for a good fit is worth it.

This pump works great and now that I have it in my 2003 vw jetta I realize how much power was actually lost from my old pump. I will say that the needle kind of hovers around a quarter tank until you are out of fuel so you need to know your car a little bit in that regard.

This pump works fine until I get under a quarter tank. It’ll just cut out and stall. Not a very reliable fuel pump at all. I will be removing it soon.
