This review is on the COCOAUTO Cabin Air Filter for Model Y(2020-2024), Model 3(2017-2024), Replace 110768100A, fit Like Oem, with Tools, Activated Carbon(2 Packs). I got these to replace the original air filters in the car, but once I removed them, they still looked new. So, I reinstalled them and took some pictures of them. To me, they look identical. They were selling for $18.89 when I got them.

Fits like the original Tesla filters and are not difficult to install if you pull up some videos to show you how. No weird smells and quality looks like it’s almost as good as the original filters.

These are good they come with tools even the torque screw driver, but the price seems too high you could part this together with single parts much cheaper

Back when I had an ICE car and I’d take it to the service center every year, they’d tell me “you need a new cabin air filter!!!” and charge me $90 for the pleasure.
Well, now I no longer visit a service center every year, I figured I’d do this myself, having had the car for a year and driven a fair few miles in it.
These filters look almost identical to the Tesla originals. They come with the little tab to pull them out, an air-flow direction ( pay attention to airflow direction!) signs on them. They LOOK like they’re dirty when you inspect them, but it occurred to me that this must be the ‘activated charcoal’ they they are suffused with.
They come with two tools – a plastic prybar for getting the panelling off, and a hex alum key for undoing the screws.
It turns out that in my 2023 Model Y the alum key is no longer needed. If you look up ‘How to change a cabin filter’ video – the older models have a screw holding in the seal cap, and mine has a push-clip.
So good so far. It’s fiddly… it’s tight but ultimately, these go in just as directed, they fit perfectly and time will tell if they do as well as the Tesla’s – which, after I inspected them really weren’t bad at all.
But these filters are an excellent 3rd party replacement for the OEM’s.

I recently replaced my Tesla Model Y’s cabin air filter with the COCOAUTO Cabin Air Filter. Here’s what I found:
Pros:
Easy Installation: The included tools made the process straightforward, even for a DIY novice.
Snug Fit: The filter slipped into place perfectly, just like the OEM.
Activated Carbon: This is a definite plus for odor reduction. I’ve noticed a noticeable improvement in air quality, especially when driving through areas with heavy traffic or pollen.
Cons:
Durability: While it’s too early to definitively say, I’ll be keeping an eye on how long this filter lasts compared to the OEM.
Odor: Some users have mentioned a slight chemical smell when the filter is new. I didn’t experience this, but it’s worth noting.
Overall:
For the price, the COCOAUTO Cabin Air Filter offers good value. It’s a solid replacement for the OEM filter and provides a noticeable improvement in air quality. If you’re looking for a cost-effective option without sacrificing performance, this filter is worth considering.
Would I recommend it? Yes, for budget-conscious Tesla owners who prioritize air quality.
Note: To maximize the filter’s effectiveness, it’s essential to replace it according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

These filters matched the sizes and the design of the OEM parts perfectly. Everything was labeled properly which made it easy to work with. The installation process is based on each person, but I will say it was fairly straight forward and surprisingly easy. This is the first time I ever did any work on my Tesla, so I didn’t know what to expect. I managed to change all filters following the steps in the video of this listing. It worked out well and better than what I expected. To anyone that knows Teslas, everything is super tight, veet little space to work with, and pretty inconveniently placed. This has nothing to do with this set, but its just something I wanted to make everyone aware of if buying this to do a DIY project. The hardest part of this install was the interior cabin as that requires getting low and pulling a few panels apart. The re- aligning of the panels to clip back on is a little challenging. One thing i appreciated about the instruction video is the assurance of how much strength was needed to take the panels off. I would have never attempted to do so with as much strength if they didn’t assure me that it was the right thing to do.
Overall, took me about 30-45 minutes from start to finish. It does come with a t20 screw driver, but I highly suggest using a ratcheting screw driver or maybe even a screw gun to speed up the process.

I compared these filters to brand new replacements from Tesla for my Model Y.
There are distinct differences between the original OEM filter and this filter.
WEIGHT: the Tesla filter weighs 6.5g while this filter weighs 3.8
MATERIALS: the Tesla seems a little denser (the darker of the pictured filters) with somewhat of a more organized structure, whereas this filter doesn’t seem as dense. The felt on sides of this filter also do not seem as thick as the Tesla ones.
However, these are about half the price of the Tesla and the rated change interval is every year as opposed to every 2 years with Tesla. Dimensionally they are the same so they should drop in and work fine.
I did not have any additional equipment to test filtration quality, but it is worth a shot for the difference in price, but just be aware of the differences.
