Second update: second one failed too after a refund/replacement. Also at the transmission.
Also after fewer than 200 miles. And the second one didn’t even come pre-greased. (Yes, I greased it.)
Update: total failure after two months. The CV joint on the transmission side utterly failed. Very suddenly, with no warning. No power. Must now replace. Decreasing from 5 stars to one.

Original review:
The axle turned out to be just a bit longer, which was nice for my Baja. No bolts or washers were included, but luckily I could reuse the old ones.
I’m not sure about the details of these yet, bc they haven’t failed & I haven’t had a reason to take them apart. I bought a different brand (with the shorter axle) that had a custom cv design & couldn’t use standard parts…anyway, those didn’t last long & I wasn’t going to buy more. I hope these hold up better. If they don’t, I’ll leave a note here.
BTW I really liked that they came pre-greased. That’s never been a fun part of replacing cv joints for me!

Got my own hp moly grease to pack these with. The boot came with grease, but the actual bearing didn’t come pre packed which I am happy about. It did also come with grease packets but I like to know what goes into it, so I used my own.
I’d recommend cleaning the bearings with brake cleaner before greasing as it won’t stick if not cleaned. Pack it until you can’t see the metal anymore. Fit my 71 super with no issues!

Looks to be a good quality set of axles, only originally unboxed one for inspection. Getting ready to install today and unboxed the other one. One had two grease packs, one pack damaged in shipping which understandably can happen, not much leaked so all good. The other had no grease whatsoever, just the axle so I guess it’s off to the parts store I go. Originally gave 5 stars prematurely, reduced to 4 due to missing supplies. Just wondering how many there are out there that are missing grease packs.
