I bought a pair of these axels for my 1990 Honda Civic, they fit great. However the passenger side has failed at the cv joint and boot. I got what I paid for. Now I’m going to buy 2 new ones as I’m sure the other is garbage as well. I am going to a local parts store and buying one with a lifetime warranty. This product I can not recommend.

The axle appeared to be in excellent shape for a rebuild. Everything was new and shiny, came well packaged. Everything was perfect until I tried to install. I’ve done plenty of axles on Hondas. Sometimes they take a few times to push in, but usually not this long. I struggled for a good half hour before pulling it out and laying it side by side with the oem axle for my 91 civic. The retaining ring on the trans side was in the shape of a D. The OEM one was perfectly circular. So I pulled the OEM axle retaining ring off, and put it onto the GSP axle, and on my second try, it made that positive sounding CLICK when you know an axle went in right. It’s been in for a few days and doesn’t leak, so I’m sure it’ll last.
