I use this product on literally every surface of my vehicle with the exception of the cloth seats. It provides a better shine than any product I’ve ever used. It cleans so well and provides a streak less finish. The pump have the best spray I’ve ever used as well. Super easy to use and worth every penny.

Recently, I started entering my 63 beetle in car shows. I noticed a lot of car enthusiasts at the show were buffing/polishing/spit shining the vehicles with Griot’s Garage cleaners. I was watching a few of them apply the cleaners to their cars and I was highly impressed with the results. After seeing that, I went ahead and bought the Speed Shine. I used it for the first time last night for my 2019 Chevy Equinox (Black Metallic). I felt the paint after washing the vehicle and it felt somewhat rough, but was clean. Like any other time I washed the vehicle. Then I followed that with this spray. Working a little section at a time. Use one microfiber to apply, and one microfiber to dry/buff. It doesn’t take much effort to remove, just a light wipe. Once it was wiped off, I ran my hand over the paint and it was friggin smooooooth. The reflection in the paint was like a mirror. I had zero streaks. Came off very nice. We are expecting rain tomorrow, so I will be able to see how it does after the fact. But it certainly has left the paint nice and shiny!
Although it’s a little higher in cost when compared to the cheaper budget friendly cleaners, I honestly don’t think I will go back. This is definitely a keeper. So much easier than using an applicator pad/paste that needs to set and turn to a haze before buffing out. This is a spray, whipe, and buff with a dry towel. Arm doesn’t get tired after the fact either 🙂

Alright, here we go!, because I just experienced a level of car detailing wizardry that’s frankly, a little suspicious. I’m talking about Griot’s Garage Speed Shine, the stuff that apparently makes time travel a side hustle.
First off, let’s talk speed. “Speed Shine” isn’t kidding. I did BOTH my cars in under 20 minutes. That’s faster than my kids can demolish a bag of chips, and they’re basically professional snack ninjas.
My wife’s brand-spanking-new 2025 Tuscon Hybrid Limited? Looked like it rolled straight outta the showroom, fresh from the “perfectly polished” dimension. Seriously, I’m half expecting it to start levitating and play a synthwave soundtrack.
Now, my 2011 Sonata Limited… well, let’s just say it’s seen some things. A fresh paint job a couple months back helped, but Griot’s Speed Shine turned back the clock like it was a DeLorean with a full tank of plutonium. It’s gleaming, it’s shimmering, it’s practically winking at me. I’m starting to suspect this stuff is made from unicorn tears and the laughter of car detailing angels.
The best part? It’s ridiculously easy to use. Spray, wipe, admire your reflection. I’m pretty sure a toddler could do it, though I wouldn’t recommend it.
And the price? Reasonable! I’m already planning a bulk order of the gallon refill, because apparently, I’m now a professional car shimmerer. My wife is absolutely gobsmacked. She keeps walking around her car, like she’s trying to figure out if I swapped it with a CGI version from a car commercial.

After reading some reviews I purchased this and Griot’s glass clay to remove some clear coat overspray from my windows. The combination was absolutely amazing. I sprayed a bit of the Speed Shine and rubbed Griot’s Clay on the windshield. You could actually feel the grit as I was moving the clay around on the windshield. This stuff cleaned the windshield with ease. After using the clay I did a final wipedown and clean with the Speed Shine and the windshield was crystal clear.
I even utilized this on my 2013 Chevy Cruze that has 150,000 miles on it. The windshield looks like new.
