Didn’t work as expected, I used to remove the blind spot mirrors from my car, and ended up using another tool because the adhesive was really strong for this chemical

We’ve used Goof Off for years with great results…but never had it in this kind of container.
It’s handy!
With a spray bottle, which is the type we’ve always used, it’s hard to be very precise.
For some uses, precision doesn’t really matter.
With a bottle like this, you can pin the application of the Goof Off to a more specific area.
Goof Off smells good, too…so it’s not a bad experience when you have to remove something sticky.
Good stuff in a handy container!

Goof off has been a staple in my garage for a long time, but I have never used the extra strength version until now. This stuff goes a step beyond, as you would expect. I would recommend wearing gloves while using it, as it is pretty powerful and I would not want it on my hands. It is a potent solvent and has all sorts of warnings on it about the flammability, but it really does get everything off including tar, grease, oil, and even dried caulk.

This Goof Off product is great for removing sticky stuff other similar products won’t but it has a very strong rubber cement smell to it. I tested this product on some vinyl floor tile which had some gummy adhesive from 2-sided tape I had used to hold a rug down and it removed the sticky residue in a matter of seconds, compared to another product I tried which took several attempts to remove the residue in another area on the tile floor. I deducted 1 star from this review due to the overwhelming odor and since it does not include any application method such as a brush attached to the inner part of the lid, so you need to apply it to a pad/rag or dip a small brush into it. I live in a rural area with lots of pine trees and occasionaly get sap on myself as well as tools which I am sure this Goof Off product will be able to easily remove, although I will not use it on my clothing due to the smell. I have found that rubbing alchohol works best for removing sap from clothing and it does not leave a strong chemical odor which this product does. Overall, this Goof Off product should be able to remove most any type of adhesive residue, paint or tar quickly. Just make sure to use it in a well ventillated area or outside.

This is the real stuff! I’ve mistakenly purchased fakes in the past that were useless, but this is the original formula that removes all kinds of adhesives, ink, price tags – it has a strong smell, but it’s the real deal, and it works like magic!! This size will last YEARS, too!
