It may be Goodyear by name only because this kit is the worst serpentine kit I have ever purchased. The serpentine belt squealed after a week. I tried reinstalling old parts until I eliminated the issue was the serpentine belt itself. I replaced the belt with a Dayco belt and had no more squeal and squeak. Roughly 3,000 miles after install the belt tensioner has started making a horrible clicking noise. That part failed so that was also replaced. The only part from the kit still installed is the idler and it’s showing signs of wear. Whoever Goodyear is sourcing these parts from must be the lowest quality parts rebranded for them. 8,000 miles is an absolutely awful period of reliability, it’s barely 2 oil change cycles.
